Pierre Rialland
MANAGING DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER

Pierre holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex and a Masters in Public Policy and Development from the Toulouse School of Economics. He has 10 years of experience in applying quantitative and mixed-methods research for policy and investment purposes. He has worked as a technical lead across various sectors to (i) shape policies, (ii) evaluate the impact of policies or NGO programmes, (iii) design Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems. At CODEWA, he defines the strategy as well as fundraising and communication plans. He is also leads the Monitoring and Evaluation all programs.

Sadath Ahmada
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY AND CO-FOUNDER

Sadath holds a Bachelor of Political Science and Public Administration and is currently completing a Masters in Human Resource Management at the Open University of Tanzania. He also has a certificate in Teaching from Alharamain teachers College in 2010 and is a 2019 ACUMEN Fellow. At CODEWA, besides defining the strategy, Sadath oversees all the activities at CODEWA and, in particular, manages all the income generating activities to ensure CODEWA’s financial sustainability.

His motto is “the value of my life will be valued through the impacts my life brought to the lives of the Children”.

Marisol Perez
Social media lead

Marisol holds a BSc in Fashion Design. She owns a brand of handmade bags in Spain. At Codewa, she manages social media content. She also ran women empowerment programmes and trained women in Tabora on sewing and patronage technics to make their own bags.

Fredrick Sunday
EDUCATION DIRECTOR and CO-FOUNDER

Fredrick holds Bachelor of education policy and management from the Open University of Tanzania and a diploma in secondary Education from mtwara teachers’ college. Since 2012, Fredrick has worked as a secondary teacher in Tabora region and owns a MC business where he uses his natural abilities as an entertainer. At CODEWA, on top of organising weekly seminars, Fredrick has developed innovative inspiration games and monitors the education outcomes of the children.
